# Pools

Pools are the simplest way to earn free tokens on Swan Swap. Stake $SWAN, earn free tokens. It’s really that easy.

Some special pools let you stake other tokens besides $SWAN too!

#### How to stake and unstake in pools? <a href="#how-to-stake-and-unstake-in-pools" id="how-to-stake-and-unstake-in-pools"></a>

**Stake token**

1. Select the pool you wish to stake.
2. Click 'Approve Contract'.
3. Click 'Stake token' and enter the amount of token, then click 'Confirm'.
4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

**Unstake token**

1. Select the pool you wish to unstake.
2. Click '- (Unstake token)' and enter the number of tokens, then click 'Confirm'.
3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
